Annual Awards Show

2026 will mark the 8th anniversary of the Gospel Choice Music Awards. Since its inception in the summer of 2018, the annual awards ceremony has been described as one of the most inspiring, and exciting shows in Atlanta focusing on God, Music, and Independent Gospel Music Artists from around the world.

The Gospel Choice Music Awards (GCMA) will continue in the tradition of paying tribute to some of today’s most influential and inspiring independent artists. The show features an array of performers and honorees nominated and voted for by the general public. The GCMA will present fan-voted awards in 30+ varying categories including Artists, Choirs, Directors, Ministers of Music, Praise & Worship Teams, and many more. You don't want to miss it!!!

- January 3rd - 31st: 2026 Nominations Review/Validation
- February 3rd: Artist Performance Interest Form Opens
- February 8th: Nominee Notification (All nominated artists will be contacted via email)
- February 10th: Honoree Notification (All nominated honorees will be contacted via email)
- February 15th: GCMA Information Session 8 AM (EST) (Nominee & Honoree Information Sessions)
- February 15th: GCMA Information Session 6 PM (EST) (Nominee & Honoree Information Sessions)
- February 21st: GCMA Information Session 8:30 AM (EST) (Nominee & Honoree Information Sessions)
- February 28th: Graphic Request Deadline (Photo and payment submission deadline)
- March 1st: Hotel Reservations Open
- March 6th: Graphics Returned To All Artists
- March 17th: First Round Voting (unlimited) Begins
- March 31st: First Round Voting Ends
- April 1st: Early Ticket Sales Begin
- April 4th: Artist Performance Interest Form Closes
- April 19th: Final Round Voting (limited) Opens
- April 25th: Final Round Voting Closes
- April 28th: Artist Performance Acceptance Notifications (Artists selected to minister/perform will be notified)
- May 29th: Artist Performance Fee/Response Deadline (Payment submission deadline, no exceptions)
- May 31st: Early Bird Ticket Sales End
